District 150 & Journal Star ESSAY CONTEST!

WHO: All students 1st - 8th grade enrolled in Peoria Public Schools

WHAT: Writing an excellent essay (75 - 150 words) following the 2008 Essay Theme:

“Meet my classroom! If a visitor were to come to your classroom for a day, what would he or she experience?"

WHEN: Essays due to Stacey Shangraw at District 150 offices by October 30, 2008

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: All winning entries will be published in the Journal Star on Thanksgiving Day and winning authors will be invited to ride on a special float in the annual Santa Claus Parade.

Winners are also presented award plaques at the Peoria Board of Education on Monday, November 17th.
